Gary Hahn Biography:-

Gary Hahn has been the Wolfpack Sports Network’s radio voice for NC State football and basketball since the 1990-91 season.

Prior to joining NC State, Hahn worked on statewide radio sports networks for the Universities of Louisville, Ohio State University, and Alabama. When Louisville won the NCAA Basketball Championship in 1980, he was a member of the broadcast team. In 1985, he called the Rose Bowl for the Ohio State Radio Network. In addition, Hahn described the Buckeyes’ 1986 NIT Championship victory.

Hahn worked as a sports anchor/reporter for the NBC Radio Network in New York City from 1981 to 1983. He began his broadcasting career as a college student in 1970 and also worked at WLWI-TV in Indianapolis in 1974-75.

Hahn also worked as the radio play-by-play announcer for the Arena Football League’s Carolina Cobras and the World League of American Football’s Raleigh-Durham Skyhawks. He earned a BS in Radio-TV from Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana, in 1974.
